About Karen Hughes Celebrant

My name is Karen Hughes and I am a civil celebrant and live in the beautiful City of Brisbane.  

My Dream has always been to work doing something you love and I am in love with what I do. I have worked in the retail and service industry’s for many years and transitioning to a life of a Celebrant meant the stars were aligned for me.

I am a mother of 3, with a wicked sense of humour and believe life is all about what you put in - you will get back two fold.  My home is filled with love, and yes a fur baby or four!

For me......... being able to tell a story, your story of love, loss and life is something that comes naturally to me and I see it as such an honour to do. 

The secret is that this isn't just a job for me - it fills me with so much joy.
