My Story
Hi, I’m Karen Hughes, a Brisbane-based civil celebrant with a passion for creating meaningful, personalised ceremonies.
From a career in retail and service industries to my life as a celebrant, I’ve found my calling — helping people celebrate love, life, and the moments that matter most. Doing what I love every day feels like the stars aligned perfectly for me.
I’m a mother of three with a wicked sense of humour, a home full of love, and yes… a fur baby (or four!). I believe life is about what you put in — and that joy multiplies when shared.
For me, storytelling is more than a skill — it’s a privilege. Being able to tell your story of love, life, or remembrance is an honour I never take lightly. Every ceremony I craft is filled with heart, care, and a touch of fun.
